The Nigerian National Association of the Deaf (NNAD) is not for profit Association of and for the Deaf in Nigeria. It was registered in Abuja, Nigeria in August 1992, with its headquarters in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. It is an affiliate member of the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) with voting rights and privileges at the World General Assembly of the World Congress of the World Federation of the Deaf.

The forthcoming of the 2017 International Week of the Deaf celebration and National Executives Council in Nigeria is from 13th to 18th November, 2017 at FSP HALL, ENUGU, ENUGU STATE. The theme is "FULL INCLUSION WITH SIGN LANGUAGE"

The Nigeria National Association of the Deaf (NNAD) is a National Body that acts as an umbrella Body for all associations of Deaf people in Nigeria, with a focus on Deaf people, their family members and friends, who use sign language as well as promoting Deaf culture, improving socio-economic access and development of the Deaf.
