Our Organizational Structure

Nigerian National Association of the Deaf (NNAD) is comprised of a Board of Trustees, Eleven (11) National Officers, Six (6) Zonal Coordinators who act as a link between the National officers and State Chairmen. State Chairmen are the leaders of State Branches in the 36 States plus Abuja. Projects are run by various committees.

The highest decision making body of NNAD is the National Executive Council (NEC) which comprises of the National Officers, the Zonal Coordinators and State Chairmen. The NEC meets three times a year to deliberate and make decisions, and produce communiqués for actions.

NNAD leaders are purely volunteers. Leaders are elected every four years during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which holds every September.
